TED and How To Save Our Oceans

Daily, we are confronted by horrifying images of the ongoing devastation being wrought in the Gulf Coast ecosystem by the massive oil spill from British Petroleum’s Deepwater Horizon drilling platform. While often painful to see, this media coverage is vital to raising and maintaining public awareness of this tragedy. Yet, at times, the enormity of such an event makes if difficult to avoid lapsing into despair and a sense of helplessness.
