Volunteer Spotlight: Michele Swicegood

If you’ve not yet met Michele, you need to. Michele is a powerhouse and is making big things happen for TEDxAsheville 2012. Using her skills in journalism, marketing and working with youth, she’s taken the lead on our scholarship program, is fine-tuning our messaging, and is participating in our publicity activities, including building a library of our photography. We haven’t found a task she’s not willing to tackle yet! Michele is a native of Asheville, recently returned after 25 years away. She’s lived abroad, volunteered for a number of different organizations and is the proud mother of three very different, very accomplished sons. We are incredibly lucky to have such an inspired and driven supporter of TEDxAsheville!
